Greg Armstrong

Greg Armstrong is the founding pastor of Renew Church and the visionary behind the Imago Leaders Network — a relational network of pastors and leaders building multiethnic churches and organizations. Over 20 years of pastoral ministry, Greg has developed, tested, and refined the Four Levels framework in real congregational life.

Greg is also the host of The Gospel and Race Podcast, a trusted voice at the intersection of faith, race, and the church's public witness. His teaching is theological, honest, and deeply practical — born from the joys and hard lessons of doing this work in real communities.

Do I need prior knowledge of multiethnic ministry to take this course? +

Not at all. The course is designed for leaders at every stage — whether you are just beginning to feel the nudge toward multiethnic engagement or have been doing this work for years and want a clearer framework. The Four Levels meet you where you are.

How long does the course take to complete? +

The five video sessions run approximately 15–25 minutes each. With reflection and application exercises, most leaders complete the course in 4–6 hours total. Because it is self-paced, you can move through it over a weekend or spread it across several weeks.

Is this course appropriate for a church leadership team? +

Yes — and the Church/Organization license is specifically designed for team use. The course includes a group discussion facilitation guide that makes it easy to move through each module as a leadership team, elder board, or staff cohort. Many of the application exercises are even more powerful when done together.

My church is monoethnic. Is this course still relevant for me? +

Absolutely. The course addresses this question directly in Module 2. Monoethnic churches are not a failure — they have a distinct and powerful calling. The framework helps monoethnic church leaders build the relational capacity and network partnerships that make them better kingdom partners regardless of their congregation's demographic makeup.

What is the Imago Leaders Network? +

Imago Leaders is a relational network of pastors and leaders who currently serve in multiethnic churches and organizations — or who are in process. It is not a denomination. It is a covenant community for people doing this work together. Community and Org tier enrollees receive full network access including monthly live sessions with Greg.
